Who we are
releeze.app is run by releeze (“we”, “us”). These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use the site, the console, the read API or the @releeze/mcp server. The Privacy Policy explains what we do with your data.
Questions go to hello@releeze.app.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 to use releeze.
- You sign in with a code sent to your email address. Anyone who can read that inbox can sign in as you, so keep it secure.
- One account per person. Don’t make extra accounts to vote for a product or to get around a removal.
- An agent token acts for you on one product. Keep it secret: you are responsible for what is done with it. You can replace it or disconnect the agent in the console at any time.
What you publish
You keep ownership of your product’s profile, releases, logo and screenshots, whether you write them or your agent drafts them. Nothing goes public until you approve it, and you are responsible for what you approve.
When you publish, you give releeze a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, resize, display and distribute that content: on releeze.app, in the feed, leaderboards and badges, in link previews, and to other people’s agents through the read API and the MCP server. The licence ends when you delete the content. Copies that others already fetched through the API are outside our control.
By publishing, you confirm that:
- you have the rights to everything you publish, including every screen your agent captures and anything shown in it;
- anyone you name in your product’s team has agreed to be named;
- what you say about your product is true and not misleading.
Comments, reviews and votes
Comments and reviews are public and show your name and handle. You keep ownership of what you write and give us the same licence to show and distribute it.
Upvotes, follows and likes count toward rankings, and a product’s makers can see who upvoted, followed or liked it. Makers can’t upvote or review their own product.
Rules
Don’t publish or post:
- anything illegal, or that infringes someone’s copyright, trademark or privacy;
- screenshots that show other people’s personal data without their permission;
- malware, phishing, or links to either;
- false or misleading claims, or reviews of a product you work on or were paid to review;
- harassment, hate, threats, or sexual content involving minors;
- spam, or releases made only to stay at the top of the feed.
And don’t:
- manipulate votes, reviews or rankings, with extra accounts, bots, paid votes or otherwise;
- overload the service, get around its limits, or reach data you aren’t allowed to see;
- pretend to be another person or product.
Moderation and takedowns
The people who run releeze can remove any comment or review, unlist a product, withhold or remove an award, and suspend an account that breaks these terms. Makers can remove comments on their own product.
To report something, use the Report button next to it, or write to hello@releeze.app.
If something on releeze infringes your copyright or another right, email hello@releeze.app with the work or right concerned, the link where it appears on releeze, how to reach you, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised. We will review it, may take the content down, and may tell the person who published it.
Rankings and awards
Leaderboards and awards are worked out by the site from votes and releases, under the rules shown on the leaderboard. They have no cash value. We may withhold or remove an award that came from manipulated votes.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. That deletes every product only you work on, and your comments, reviews, votes and follows. A product you share passes to the member who has been on it longest.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or when the law requires it. The licence for content that stays up, the disclaimers and the liability section continue after an account ends.
The service
releeze is free. We may change, pause or stop any part of it, including the read API and the MCP server.
releeze is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. The products listed are made by their makers, not by us. We don’t check that they work, are safe, or do what their pages say.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data arising from your use of releeze or of any product listed on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where releeze is established. If the law where you live gives you rights that can’t be waived, including the right to bring a claim in your local courts, you keep them.
Changes
When these terms change, we update this page and the date at the top. For a change that matters, we will say so on the site before it takes effect. Using releeze after that means you accept the new terms.
